The Full Moon Oyster Bar & Seafood Kitchen circa summer 2003 was a concept derived by an industrious group of seafood lovers from Clemmons, NC. They got together and decided that it was time for an oyster bar in their neighborhood just like the traditional steam houses on the coast. A place where people could go and dine on oysters on the half shell as well as other treats from the sea. With Randy Russell at the helm, their dream became a reality opening with little fanfare but an overwhelming response.
Now anyone can have the finest, freshest, steamed seafood and enjoy an atmosphere unlike any around when they sit at the bar at the Full Moon. The shuckers provide unlimited and unique conversation with guaranteed laughs as they serve up your steaming Full Moon seafood platter and shuck your oyster's right in front of you. While others around you eat, drink, socialize, you just might get the feeling your at the beach with your friends. The beautiful seascapes and murals add a distinctive look to your new favorite hangout and the fresh seafood and wonderful service are assured to bring you back again and again. Just come in and ask for a cold beer or glass of wine and you will see that at the Full Moon there are no strangers.
